A new church plant in the City of Bayswater launched in 2021
A New Story
Providence began in 2009 as a collection of house churches with a mission to reach more of Perth through planting churches. Why? Because they realised that while it may have a lot of church buildings, Perth did not have much faith in Jesus.
Those house churches would grow into Providence City and Providence Midland. Now, Providence is planting a new church in Bayswater in 2021.
Meet Paul & Bec.
Paul has mostly lived in Perth. He became a Christian in high school, worked as a social worker with struggling kids, and now serves as a Pastor at Providence Church.
Bec grew up in Darwin. She was raised in a Christian family, was a ministry trainee at a university, and now works as a dentist.
Together, they have trained in churches and bible colleges in Perth and over east.
Despite their differences, they still have the same desire: to spread the hope of Jesus in a world in desperate need of hope. They’ve both experienced church plants that have reached lots of people who don’t go to church. And they’re convinced that the risks of starting something new are absolutely worth it.
We’d love for you to partner with us as we look at starting a new church in 2021.
Meeting on Sundays in 2021
Providence Bayswater is about five words; faith, courage, local, family, historical.
Our prayer is that we’re a church faithful to Jesus and that is courageous for God. We pray that we’re a local church doing good for our community. We pray we love each other like a big adopted family by God. We pray we are historical and honour the Christians gone before us.
We meet on Sundays @ 10am at 58 Murray Street, Bayswater.
We’d love for you to join us on a Sunday.
We’d love to hear from you.
