Get ready for our weekend away for 2026! This year we have the privilege of having Aidan Smith to help us work through the book of James. You may remember Aidan from his time as part of the Providence Bayswater community when he was training in ministry with us.
In addition, it will be great to spend some significant time with each other as we eat meals, sing songs, and pray with each other. Our weekend away is a great way to get to know others deeply and to pause using God’s Word and Prayer.
So that no one misses out on Weekend Away, for the first time in 2026 we have overflow accommodation. Just 15 minutes down the road from Orchard Glory is the Little Eeden Pine Farm Camp, with plenty of caravan or camping sites. If you love camping or want to stay at a cheaper site for the weekend, this is a great option for you! Register via the normal form (select the Little Eeden option) where you will pay the ‘day rate’. Then book your own campsite at Little Eeden and BYO all camping gear. All meals and other Weekend Away activities are included – just sleep at Little Eeden but spend the days at Orchard Glory.

What’s the Accommodation?
Orchard Glory Farm Resort

Accommodation at Orchard Glory is chalets in either 2-bedroom or 3-bedroom configurations. This will allow families to stay together or with one other family in their own accommodation, and smaller groups for conversation and getting to know each other. Each chalet comes with its own kitchen and bathroom facilities.

Alternatively, book as a Little Eeden attendee, paying the day rate and booking your own campsite at Little Eeden for your family/ mates.
What’s the go with Little Eeden Pine Farm Camp?

To mitigate running out of beds at Orchard Glory, and as a more affordable option, alternative accommodation can be booked at Little Eeden Pine Farm Camp. Just 15 minutes down the road, Little Eeden has tent, camper trailer and caravan suitable campsites.
To book this option, register as normal, selecting the Little Eeden ticket options (you will pay the day rate for Saturday and Sunday). Then book your own site directly with Little Eeden via their HipCamp page. This will cost $49 per site, per night. The website says sites are limited to 4 people, however they have confirmed they are happy for additional children on their sites, so families of any size can stay on one size.
Please look at the HipCamp page to find out more about Little Eeden before selecting this option – you’ll need to BYO all your own camping supplies.
Kids on Camp?
ProvYouth, ProvKids, and ProvCreche will run as normal during the sessions so that as much of the church as possible can participate. We have invited some extra volunteers on the weekend to help during the sessions and talks.
Food & Cooks?
This year Chris & Rachel Chong will be leading a team catering for our Weekend Away. You might remember them from their malaysia cuisine back in 2023 at our Weekend Away.

Who is the Speaker?
Aidan Smith
Aidan is married to Jess and dad to Riley and Ethan. Originally from Tassie, he now happily calls Perth home. Across his life he’s studied engineering, worked in community development, played a lot of sport, built some lego, and shorn one sheep. His greatest passion is to know and love Jesus more each day, and help others do the same.
Aidan was a resident with us during his studies in 2022/23 training for ministry. It is a joy to welcome him and Jess back for our Weekend Away.
Aidan will be speaking on the letter of James.
