For term three 2022 we’re preaching through the book of Galatians. This book raises some important questions, so here are some resources to help you as we go.
The letter to the Galatians has two primary messages which can be summarised with one word; Enough!
Jewish leaders are teaching that circumcision is still a requirement for God’s people. To them, Paul says enough! Stop it. That is a false Gospel.
And for the Churches of Galatia being persuaded by this false gospel, Paul makes it clear that Jesus is enough. You don’t need anything else. Just Jesus.
Galatians raises some big questions:
• What is the difference between a true gospel and false one?
• How good do I have to be, to be saved?
• How were people saved pre-Jesus?
• Do our actions matter at all?
• What does a spiritual person look like?
• Does Galatians challenge Catholicism?

Are you a Spiritual Person?
A short TGC article
A spiritual person is often an enigma. For some, the phrase may conjure images of a monk or a priest, arrayed in clothing befitting the occupation. For others, it may bring to mind images of a well-dressed person constantly carrying her Bible and praying.
Is there a biblical basis for establishing the qualifications of a spiritual person? I think there is. The surrounding context of Galatians provides it.
Does Galatians challenge Catholicism?
This book explores the key issues which continue to divide Protestants and Catholics, and assessing them in light of the teaching of Scripture. A challenging and invaluable book for Protestants and Catholics alike.
