Raising up the next generation of
Ministry Apprenticeships at Prov City
Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
At Providence City, we want to see the 800,000 people we live and work amongst have a fighting chance of knowing Jesus.
To do it, we’re going to need more churches and more gospel workers. A Ministry Apprenticeship is a 2 year, full time, hands on training program equipping future gospel workers. Partner with our ministry apprentices by praying, giving and cheering them on as they train.

Meet our 2024 Ministry Apprentice
Alex was born and raised in Perth and still lives in the same home he grew up in. He moved to Canberra to study History but realised becoming a historian was too hard.
In his spare time, Alex likes to try to read, learn a language or two and work on an irregularly updated podcast.
As a ministry apprentice, Alex will be part of the Providence City Ministry Team. Alex’s apprenticeship will focus on growing him in Christian character, theological convictions, and ministry skills.
Sign up to receive Alex’s prayer requests.
And pray that God would be raising up gospel workers for the harvest from amongst us.
Partner with Alex by giving financially.
Ministry Apprentices receive a scholarship of roughly $27,000. Scholarships are managed by Ministry Training Strategy (MTS) and all gifts are tax deductible.
Alex will need our encouragement as he learns and grows in his Christian character, theological convictions and ministry skills.
You might like to:
- Invite Alex for a meal
- Give him a word of encouragement
- Let him know you’re praying for him
