Raising up the next generation of
gospel workers
Ministry Apprenticeships at Providence City
Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
At Providence City, we want to see the 800,000 people we live and work amongst have a fighting chance of knowing Jesus.
To do it, we’re going to need more churches and more gospel workers. A Ministry Apprenticeship is a two-year, full-time, hands-on training program equipping future gospel workers. Partner with our ministry apprentices by praying, giving and cheering them on as they train.

Meet our current Ministry Apprentices
Meet Caleb
Caleb loves Jesus and loves people. What brings him joy is helping people flourish and come to know Jesus. He’s grateful to have the opportunity to learn, grow and serve Providence City in and through a Ministry Apprenticeship.
When not wrangling his two delightful daughters, Caleb enjoys a coffee with his wife, a surf in the south west or having a meaningful conversation on his podcast or with a friend.
Meet Evelyn
Evelyn grew up in Perth. She studied pharmacy at Curtin and graduated in 2016. She did her pharmacy internship in Kalgoorlie before returning to Perth to work as a pharmacist in the public system.
She enjoys catching up with friends, watching sport, and making paper crafts.
Meet Aksel
Aksel was born in Perth but spent most of his time growing up in Mount Barker, a small town north of Albany. After completing a Cert IV in Christian Ministry and Theology through Albany Baptist Church and a Diploma of Theology at Trinity Theological College, he decided to continue his pathway towards ministry by doing a Ministry Apprenticeship.
Aksel enjoys playing music, playing ultimate frisbee, hanging out with friends and watching the footy.
Meet Nic
Nic is a born and raised Perth local. After a couple of years working for a missions organisation, he is doing a Ministry Apprenticeship where he is stoked to be growing and serving with the team at Providence City, while studying part-time at Trinity Theological College.
You’ll often find Nic spending time with mates; going for a run, watching a movie, or enjoying a good coffee.

Partner financially
Partner with the apprentices by giving financially. Ministry Apprentices receive a scholarship of roughly $27,000. Scholarships are managed by Ministry Training Strategy (MTS) and all gifts are tax deductible.
Encourage
They will need our encouragement as they learn and grow in Christian character, theological convictions and ministry skills.
You could invite them over or send them a word of encouragement!
Financial Partnership
The fine print…
For each Ministry Apprentice, we need to raise at least $37,000 per year to pay for their training costs and provide a scholarship to cover their living expenses.
Donations are managed through Ministry Training Strategy (MTS) and all gifts are tax-deductible.
